    The power of the pen and the power of law are the best weapons against the Service. The IRS, with its budget restrictions, remain under-staffed for the most part. Therefore, the Service will send letters for months or years until your tax debt becomes large enough for special attention, and by golly, that’s what you will get. You’re going to get a lot of attention when the Service finally catches up to you. Do not expect this unwanted attention to go away overnight, as you were recalcitrant. If it takes months and years to move you to the point of wanting to solve the problem, then it will take months and years to solve the problem. There will be no bread served with your wine. Suck it up, and remember, don’t stoop low to try and get even, get Matthew Jennings, MBA, EA, RFC®, CEP®, CES™!
